AURORA IS NOT A DASHBOARD

Dashboards show data. Aurora shows decisions.

DETECTION ENGINE · EXAMPLE

What Finozio can find in your bill.

Fictional example of the kind of findings Finozio surfaces after a scan. Names and amounts are made up.

Fictional example — made-up dataScanning
  • Scanning 47 resource types across 3 subscriptions...
  • Cost spike detected: Storage +60% in sub-prod since the previous reading ⚠
  • VM 'web-app-prod-3' oversized by 67% → save €4,280/month
  • Found 23 orphaned disks across rg-test-* · €1,890/month recoverable
  • 90-day projection from the weekly trend: €184K, 80% range €171K to €197K

CAPABILITIES

Six capabilities, one always-on brain.

Nightly anomaly detection

Every night, Aurora compares each subscription's spend with its own history and flags services whose cost jumps by more than 40% — before the invoice arrives.

Natural language Q&A

“Which services cost me the most this month?” — Aurora answers from your last 30 days of costs, your inventory and your recommendations.

90-day spend projection

Finozio forecasts your spend for the next 90 days: the trend of your weekly totals (8 to 25 consolidated weeks), spread over your typical week, with an 80% range. Aurora quotes and explains it; with less than 8 weeks of history, it tells you so instead of making up a number.

Inactive Copilot seats (M365 module)

From the Audit Spring plan, the M365 scan flags Copilot seats with no activity in 30 days and prices their monthly cost.

Automated execution module (Custom)

Custom tier: a separate module applies the rules your admin defines. The detection engine spots and prices, Aurora explains: neither acts on its own.

Weekly alert digest

Every Monday morning: your alerts still open, most recent first, by e-mail.

UNDER AURORA: THE DETECTION ENGINE

Four steps. Continuous loop.

  1. Ingest

Azure costs pulled nightly, inventory through Resource Graph, VM activity through Azure Monitor.

  2. Reason

Fixed FinOps rules applied to 47 resource types, the last 30 days of costs and the last 14 days of CPU activity, plus Azure Advisor.

  3. Rank

By estimated € saving, with risk and effort levels — the biggest gain surfaces first.

  4. Deliver

Alerts in the portal and on Slack, Teams or PagerDuty (from the Pilot plan), weekly e-mail digest, monthly report in the portal; from the Pilot plan, a ready-to-run remediation script for each eligible saving, which your admin reviews and runs themselves.
